Susan Okin Goldsmith: “We Woke Up”

May 29, 2020

Attorney Susan Okin Goldsmith is a lifelong Democrat. Social action and justice are in her blood, so it is no surprise that she was among the women so moved by the vitriol of the 2016 election to engage in our community, first with a grassroots group of like-minded women and then by helping to re-establish the Bernards Township Democratic Committee.  She saw injustice, rolled up her sleeves, and made a difference.

Susan I absolutely loved your video clip. Boy did you bring back intense memories for me especially around the woman’s march in January 2017. I am so impressed at how assessable you are in this video and to be honest with you I’m impressed with all of the videos that the Democratic township committee has been able to produce. Please keep releasing these because I believe they connect with people which is what we need right now.

Linda, thank you so much for the feedback. So glad it resonates with you. Susan did a wonderful job.
