Sara serves as the BTDC Media Chair and represents District 20.  She manages the BTDC website social media and news updates for the committee and campaigns. Sara served as campaign manager for Jessica Simpson-Cook's campaign in 2022 as well as the McCarthy and Wong campaign in 2023.

Professionally, Sara is a television executive producer and director, creating more than 600 hours of television for ABC, MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon, E!, Oxygen, NBC, Discovery, SundanceTV, Bravo, and TLC. Her directing work includes music videos and image campaigns for artists including Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani.  Her company, Emotional Pictures, is certified as a New Jersey Woman-Owned Business.

Sara executive produced and directed a two hour documentary on child marriage in the United States for A&E/Hulu. When filming started, only one state (Delaware) had completely banned child marriage. Seeing firsthand just how much leadership in government at all levels matters, Sara joined the BTDC and put her skills to use.

In addition to her work in television and music, Sara was a programmer for the first two Women In The World summits for the Daily Beast featuring several high profile activists from around the world. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America (Producers Council), and holds dual degrees from Syracuse University.
