Leap For Lungs

June 27, 2019

I had the pleasure of being a part of the Leap for Lungs event at Ridge HS. The campaign and the Bernards Township Democratic Committee both sponsored squares on the worlds longest hopscotch course! The kids, the adults that helped out, and the sheer determination to get this accomplished and to raise money for lung cancer research was amazing. Everyone should be congratulated on their work, achievements, and dedication to such an important cause! I happened to be interviewed during this event but that video will be posted once it has been edited and uploaded. Thank you again to this great group of people!!

Took this photo on Saturday evening. These friends were still working on the squares! Great dedication! Kudos ladies!
Even down into the path behind the Ridge football field. Very lovely!
It went on for miles!
Just part of the squares the Chadda campaign and the Bernards Township Democratic Committee purchased to help with funding research for lung cancer.
Came out on Saturday to show my support for this cause!
Some of the BTDems.org squares. The kids were rushing to get them all stenciled in. They were to paint over them on Sunday.

These are just some of […]

Hello! The Spring Equinox, March 20, is just around the corner, and just in the nick of time, as the community has “weathered” through several significant snowstorms that prompted school closings and disruption to transit.  I would like to express my gratitude to our Department of Public Works, Police Department, Fire companies and EMT squad […]

True Blue: Bhavani Ravichandran

The BTDC benefits from all sorts of volunteers who work quietly, consistently and under the proverbial radar. One such volunteer is Bhavani Ravichandran. When asked to canvass, she makes herself available. When called on to plant signs – even multiple signs – in her very visible front yard, the answer is always yes. Bhavani grew […]
