Kristin is the BTDC secretary and District 23 rep. After working on the Biden election campaign in 2020, she was interested in getting involved locally. She became a district rep in 2023, worked on the McCarthy and Wong campaign, and became the Events Coordinator for the BTDC.  

Kristin, her husband Raymond Shinn, and their two boys moved to New Jersey in 2007 originally living in Madison, then moved to Basking Ridge in 2015 after spending three years in Copenhagen, Denmark. Kristin is a lawyer and worked for AT&T and Pfizer, providing advice and counsel on various matters including mergers and acquisitions, marketing, compliance, and international business issues. She was the General Manager for the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare business in the Nordics from 2012 -2015. Before becoming in-house counsel, Kristin was in private practice, representing defendants in professional malpractice and product liability matters. She graduated from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.
