2020 BTDC Civic Scholarship Recipient: Richa Amin

June 18, 2020

The Bernards Township Democratic Committee (BTDC) is pleased to announce that rising Ridge High School senior Richa Amin has been selected as the recipient of the 2020 BTDC Civic Scholarship.

Founded in 2019, the Scholarship is awarded to a Ridge rising or graduating senior who aspires to foster Democratic values. The scholarship includes a $1,500.00 award and an internship with Congressman Tom Malinowski (D-NJ, 7th District) at his headquarters in Somerville.

Richa, an outstanding student, shared: “I strive to work for the federal government in the future, and being able to be a part of it this or next summer would be a dream come true. Working for Congressman Malinowski would mean I’m included in the hard work he and his team have put into representing my district, and I certainly want to be part of that.” Congratulations, Richa!
