2021 Civic Scholarship

March 10, 2021

We are now accepting applications for the Bernards Township Democratic Committee Civic Scholarship.

The BTDC Civic Scholarship is awarded to a rising or graduating Ridge High School senior interested in fostering democratic values and serving their community.

The chosen applicant will receive a $1,500.00 scholarship. In the past, recipients have also received the opportunity to intern with New Jersey Congressman Tom Malinowski (D-NJ 7th District) at his New Jersey district office in Somerville. Due to Covid restrictions, we are not able to offer the internship opportunity at this time. If the current situation continues to improve, an opportunity to intern for Congressman Malinowski may become available this summer.

Application is open to current junior and senior year students at Ridge High School.

To view and submit an application, students should use or create an account on Naviance.

All information submitted will be held in confidence, and used solely for the purpose of scholarship administration.
