Sima Guven holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College and an M.B.A. from Cornell University. She began her career in finance at J.P. Morgan, before transitioning into media, where she served as an executive at the Hurriyet Media Group, a prominent Turkish daily newspaper and international news agency.

Sima currently serves as CFO at Eskare, Inc., an engineering consulting firm she co-founded.

Sima has lived in Basking Ridge for the past 10 years with her husband and their twin daughters, both of whom are in law school.
