Jennifer Aaron has lived in Basking Ridge for twenty-six years. She and her husband, Marvin, have raised four children in town.
Jen co-chaired the Bernards Township Vision 2020 study conducted in 2019. The project identified and measured residents’ priorities for the coming decade. As she began volunteering for Biden 2020 election efforts, she realized attention to Democratic issues was merited closer to home. She became involved with the BTDC as a neighborhood rep in 2022, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the BTDC and editor of the BTDC Beat, a monthly newsletter.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Jen spent several years in publishing, working for Esquire and Bon Appetit magazines, and then went on to earn her MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following a career in market research as a consumer trends analyst, she became a stay-at-home mom and assumed various leadership roles in her kids’ schools’ PTO and athletic organizations.
In addition to volunteering with the BTDC, Jen serves as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Ridge High School. She’s also an avid reader, golfer, and racquets player.
