PRIMARY RESULTS: Thank you!

June 11, 2025

To each and every one of you who made it important to vote in the primary….

THANK YOU!

Thanks to you, we received the highest number of votes for either party in a gubernatorial primary, and the highest number of votes for either party in ANY primary election with the exception of 2020. The 2020 Presidential primary during the pandemic had a big turnout, and both parties received a record number of votes for Township Committee.

Setting another record in this election was LD21 Assembly candidate Andrew Macurdy, who received more votes than any previous assembly candidates for either party in the LD21 district primary, ever. You can see the full 2025 SOMERSET COUNTY election results here.

This is just the start of setting records and making history… Brett and John are committed to working hard to earn each and every vote, and in the coming weeks they’ll be calling you or meeting you! We want to hear your thoughts and concerns, and together we can make history with a Democratic majority on the Township Committee!

Our local government has been dominated by a Republican majority for over 90 years. We’re not looking to re-invent the wheel. In fact, our township administrators and staff do a darn good job. But lack of vision and planning by this majority has lead to complacency, a woeful lack of transparency, a resistance to different points of view, and lately a whole lot of chaos surrounding affordable housing and a proposed film studio.

In the end, it comes down to electing leaders who will listen, who will thoughtfully consider, work collaboratively, and engage the community much earlier on versus right on top of a deadline.

This is just the start of setting records and making history… Brett and John are committed to working hard to earn each and every vote! They will be reaching out and listening to your thoughts and concerns.

Given the state of affairs currently, it’s easy to forget how much one small action matters. For this upcoming General Election, your help locally will have an impact all the way up to the Governor’s seat. Please consider helping our local campaign by giving your time as a volunteerdonatingputting up a lawn sign in the fall, or bringing your friends to one of our meet and greets

And together…let’s make history. THANK YOU.
