Lily Wong: Noble Go-Getter Who Will Humbly Serve Your Community

October 30, 2023

My name is Janet Kwong and I met Lily when we were Freshmen at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania over 30 years ago, and we have remained close friends ever since then.

Why vote for Lily Wong?  Vote for Lily and you will get a wise, optimistic, and noble go-getter, who will humbly serve your community.

Wise – Lily is one of the most intelligent people I know. She is able to dissect complex issues and get to the core of problems. I am currently the Chief Financial Officer of a private company with over 700 employees. When I need advice on something that is puzzling or concerning, I have at times just picked up the phone to call Lily. She instantly drills down to the core of the situation and provide wise suggestions and solutions.

Lily has an abundance of knowledge and business experience that will serve Bernards Township. In addition to getting her undergraduate business degree from the University of Pennsylvania, she earned her MBA from Harvard University.  Her professional career included working as an auditor for a large CPA firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers and as an internal consultant at Pfizer.

Optimistic – Lily’s optimism inspires me and can inspire communities.  She doesn’t shy away from challenges and can quickly and decisively lead. In college, Lily participated in clubs and on causes that she was passionate about like the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project.  Her community service at her children’s schools and in the community has shown her belief that through her hard work and contribution, the community can be better as a result.

Noble – Lily is the definition of a noble and moral person. In the many years that I have known Lily, she has always had high standards of behavior. I cherish her also because she is willing to help in any way. I live in Hawaii and when my father-in-law suddenly passed away a couple of years ago, she instantly came to our family’s side. I did not expect her drop everything and fly across the country and the Pacific Ocean, but she did, and provided immeasurable comfort and support.

Lily will go above and beyond in working for your township as she is truly compassionate about your concerns.

Go-Getter – I can attest to the fact that Lily is a go-getter. I have always admired her for pursuing her goals. One of Lily’s goals had been to become an entrepreneur. She has successfully run a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) camp for many years, while overcoming many challenges.

While Lily moved to Bernards Township only three years ago, she has already served as member of the Municipal Alliance. Her leadership in the Bernard Township Committee will be an invaluable asset as she will be laser-focused in working for the residents of your town.

Give Ana McCarthy and Lily Wong the opportunity to put their positive and constructive ideas into action by voting for McCarthy and Wong!
